CHRIS BURGESS ATTENDS 2009 NAMM SHOW IN ANAHEIM

Chris Burgess met up with Tom Politzer (lead Tenor Sax of Tower of Power) at the 2009 NAMM SHOW. The two of them went around to various vendors and tried out new mouthpieces for their tenor saxes and also played various brand of horns. Chris purchased a Jody Jazz DVNY and Tom got a TheoWanne Mouthpiece for himself. It was a great show and well worth the time spent checking out all the latest stuff in the Music Industry.

2009 Scheduled Performances

3/8 Chase Morrin Quartet - South Park Bar and Grill - Chris will be featured on the tenor sax 1946 Fern St San Diego, CA 92102 6:00 p.m.
3/14 City College Jazz Festival - Chris Burgess will be performing with the Palomar Jazz Band at 12:00 noon
3/14 El Camino High School Band Festival - Chris will be playing the Clarinet with the RBHS Wind Ensemble at 8:00 pm at El Camino High School located at 400 Del Oro Oceanside, CA 92057
3/15 Chris will be playing with the Latin Connection at Bookworks at the Flowerhill Mall from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is the Book Work's 33 Anniversary Birthday Party Celebration open to the public and free! This should be a really great show and the Latin Connection are really great to listen to! Chris will be playing tenor sax at this event!
3/18 RB Sax Quartet will be performing at the Freshman Orientation for the RBHS Music Program in the RBHS Band Room. Chris will be playing the Bari Sax at this event at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come and listen to the RB Sax Quartet Perform!
3/20 Pannikin Coffee/Book Works at the Flowerhill Promenade 2670 Via De La Valle # A230 Del Mar, CA at 7pm - 10pm Chris will be playing tenor sax with the Latin Connection. This will be a fun upbeat show! Come join Chris and have a cup of coffee and a piece of cake and enjoy the music!!
3/21 KUSI Good Morning San Diego 9:00 a.m. Channel 51 Chris will be with The Latin Connection Promoting their Dizzy's Gig on March 25th. Set your DVR's to record Good Morning San Diego on KUSI and you will get a chance to see him playing Tenor Sax with Chase Morrin and The Latin Connection
3/21 Rancho Bernardo Starbucks on the Corner of Rancho Bernardo Rd and West Bernardo Dr from 11am to 2pm Chris will be playing Solo Tenor Sax and Soprano Sax Jazz Music outdoors on the Patio. Come on by and enjoy a cup of Starbucks and Chris' Jazz Music Performance!!!
3/21 Classic Hollywood Gala at the Sports Club Room at the Del Mar Racetrack/FairGrounds 5pm Chris will be playing tenor sax with the Latin Connection during Cocktail Hour prior to the actual Gala Event. This Event is put on by he Boys and Girls Club.
3/25 Mesa College Festival of Colors 1pm to 2pm Chris will be at Mesa College on stage with The Latin Connection promoting their show for that evening at Dizzys - They will play a 1 hour set for The Festival of Colors.
3/25 DIZZY'S OF SAN DIEGO AT THE WINE AND CULINARY CENTER LOCATED ON THE GROUND FLOOR OF THE HARBOR TOWERS IN DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO 7:00PM EVERYONE PLEASE COME AND HELP SEND THE LATIN CONNECTION TO THE MONTEREY NEXT GENERATION JAZZ FESTIVAL. THIS IS GOING TO BE A REALLY GREAT SHOW AND EVERYONE IS INVITED TO COME ENJOY CHRIS BURGESS AND THE LATIN CONNECTION ON STAGE AT DIZZYS! THE ADDRESS IS 2ND AND J STREET ACROSS FROM THE CONVENTION CENTER OFF HARBOR DRIVE!
